MARISA AND RODY'S RUSTIC CHIC BARN WEDDING

Connecticut has a rich rural and agricultural heritage with many barns, and farms.  The center of one of those rich farming communities is Bethlehem, Connecticut in the Northwest Litchfield, Hills.  Rolling hills, forests and farmland are the hallmarks of this unique Connecticut region and Wyndcrest Estate Venue is the perfect place to celebrate that rich heritage. You don't have to go south to go country as you will see.  We start off the wedding day with photos of Marisa getting on property at an air b and b owned by the Venue.  Marisa's mom and sister were there to help as well as her bridesmaids.  

After the getting ready photos at the air b and b we went to the venue for photos of Marisa and her bridesmaids. 

Nothing says farm country like big tractors and trucks.  Not just big trucks but monster trucks!!  Roddy and his grooms showed up in style with a grand entrance of the groomsmen in their pick up trucks.  What a show that was! 
Their outdoor ceremony is next with stunning views of the farms and hills and barn. 

Portraits came next during the cocktail hour of Rody and Marisa and the wedding party and family. 

The barn at Wyndcrest Estate is huge and able to accomodate really large weddings.  Not all barn weddings are able to do it.  The barn is very modern, climate controlled which can be a plus in the hot summer and has an upscale rustic chic vibe to it.  The venue takes rustic to another level of chic. We begin the wedding reception with detail photos, introductions a first dance by Marisa and Rody followed by a father daughter dance, mother son dance and toasts.  While dinner was being served I went outside with Marisa and Roddy for some sunset portraits.

The reception fun continues with a cake cutting and lots of great times on the dancefloor. What an amazing down home, rustic chic, country western wedding celebration Marisa and Rody.  It was a one-of-a-kind wedding for sure!!
