With summer and wedding season is full swing it is time for Allie and David's wedding at The Waterview in Monroe, Connecticut. The Waterview sits on the banks of the Housatanic River (Lake Zoar) and is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. Our wedding begins with some photos of David and his groomsmen and father before the wedding ceremony.
Getting ready photos of Allie were next in the bridal suite at The Waterview. Allie and her bridesmaids and mom were there to help her get ready.
A first look with Allie and her father came next. Adding a first look with the brides father is easy to add the bride's getting ready photos and makes for such tender moments and beautiful photos to remember these magic moments.
Our wedding day took us outside for a first look with Allie and David followed by portraits of them together, bridal party and family photos. We were able to finish all the portraits before the ceremony so everyone could enjoy the cocktail hour and wedding with family and friends. Their first look was very touching and provided for such beautiful photos.
In the Jewish tradition, before the ceremony a Ketubah ceremony was performed with the bride, and groom, witnesses and Rabbi signing the marriage certificate.
It is now time for their ceremony overlooking the Housatonic River. Their ceremony was the joining of two religions and culture, Jewish and Catholic. Parts of both religions were incorporated into the ceremony by a Rabbi and Catholic priest. Wine was shared and a glass broken at the end as per the Jewish tradition.
It is time for the reception to begin. First some reception detail photos followed by introductions, first dance, toasts, parent dances and a wonderful celebration at The Waterview.
