Backyard weddings can be a good option for a wedding location especially if you have a nice backyard.  Kyle's Mom had lots of acres of land in the quite corner of Connecticut in Canterbury which made for a great location for their reception, portraits and getting ready photos of Stephanie.  But before we get there we start the wedding day with Kyle and his groomsmen getting ready at Courtyard Marriot in Norwich.  

With the guys finished we had to the Kyle's mom's house for getting ready photos of Stephanie. 

Stephanie does a first look with her dad next. Part of the first look is presenting her dad with a gift of a tie with a photo of Stephanie and her dad years ago.  It was very touching. 

Next came portraits of Stephanie and her bridesmaids and family portraits. With a large part of the portraits finished we headed to the local church down the road in Baltic Connecticut at an old Catholic Church tucked away in the quiet corner of Connecticut.  The church was so beautiful inside and out. 

Portraits at the alter followed as the guests headed to the cocktail hour back at the house then a few photos outside the church with Stephanie and Kyle.

Back at the house it was time for some portraits of the bride and groom and bridal party during the cocktail hour before the party begins. 

It was a perfect warm summer June month for an evening outside and under the big tent. What an amazing wedding celebration Stephanie and Kyle!!
