Backyard weddings are a lot of fun. They can involve a lot of work with tent rentals, caterers etc. however the rewards can be great. When you have a great backyard, great weather and great friends and family you have the recipe for success, fun and a laid back summer time celebration. All the stars aligned for Erin and Josh's backyard tent wedding in Seymour, Connecticut. We start off the wedding day with getting ready photos of Erin and her bridesmaids.
With the getting ready photos finished it is not time to go outside for the first look with Erin and Josh followed by portraits of them, their wedding party and family photos.
Guest start arriving and you can feel the excitement in the air. We all prepare for their wedding ceremony. Their wedding ceremony included 2 speeches including a speech by Erin's friend blowing dust off her speech commenting on how long it has taken for Erin and Josh to get married.
With the ceremony complete it is party time with the an amazing cocktail hour.
Their reception begins with introductions, a first dance with Erin and Josh, A father daughter dance with Erin and her father. Two speeches followed by cake cutting a surprise moustache costume dance for Erin, anniversary dance, corn hole and yard games and lots of fun.
