GRACE AND ROBIN'S WEDDING

Tarrywile Mansion

Danbury, Connecticut

Connecticut has so many unique wedding venues.  Many of them are historic and were former residences of Connecticut's wealthy elite.  The Tarrywile Mansion in Danbury Connecticut is one such venue.  A real treasure of Connecticut's wedding venues.  This historic venue is perfect for smaller sized weddings. The grounds are so beautiful and the architecture of the mansion makes for a unique and memorable wedding day.

Grace and Robin were very expressive people with a joy for life.  Their wedding party were equally as spirited. Their wedding photos took on a very light hearted, jovial style.  In the moment they would stage a scene like the funeral scene during the getting ready photos.  You have heard the expression "You can't make this stuff up."  Well that was the theme of the day, photo after photo.  As a photographer it was such a blast to be part of this fun and joyful wedding party and day. Let's get right into the getting ready photos of Robin and his groomsmen.  With the getting ready photos of Robin complete we move next to the getting ready photos of Grace and her bridesmaids. Robin and Grace and their wedding party were so much fun.  They had a great time with their photos and really put their emotions, laughter and creativity in their photos to make them unique to their personality and style.

With the getting ready photos finished we went outside to the beautiful grounds of Tarrywile Park for a first look with Grace and Robin followed by portraits of them and the wedding party.

Next came their wedding ceremony under the grape arbor.   The scroll the officiant used added to the flair of their wedding day. Personal vows and rings were exchanged as well as tears and laughter, joy and celebration.
Some additional portraits of Grace and Robin were taken before gathering on the wrap around porch for the cocktail hour and toasts.

After the toasts out on the deck we moved inside for Grace and Robin's first dance followed by the father daughter and mother son dance, dinner, cake cutting and lots of great times on the dance floor.

What an incredible wedding celebration. Thank you Grace and Robin for sharing your love for each other and your love for life with us all.
