ABBY AND NICK'S WEDDING

The Heritage Hotel in Southbury, Connecticut is a great place to have your wedding because all parts of your wedding including getting ready photos, portraits, first look, ceremony and reception can be done in one location.  You can start hair and make up at 5:00 am if needed and you are not under the time restrictions and constraints that are common with venues that only allow you to arrive 1 hour or so before your ceremony.  So you can have lots of time for your wedding photos without having to travel, or be stressed out etc. Also your guests can stay right there at the hotel rather than having to go to another destination for accomadations. If you plan to pack a lot of photos time into your wedding day this is a great venue to do it.  We start our wedding day with photos of Nick the groom getting ready. 

We have lots of time now to go outside and do some pre-ceremony portraits of Nick and his groomsmen and some family photos as well.  The beauty of doing pre-ceremony photos is it gives the couple more time to enjoy the cocktail hour. 
With the getting ready photos and portraits complete with Nick and his groomsmen and family it is now time for the getting ready photos with Abby and her bridesmaids. Some of the photos included pajama photos of Abby and her bridesmaids, getting ready Abby and a first look with her bridesmaids. 

We went outside next and did a first look with Abby and her father which was very touching.  The love of a father for his daughter can be an amazing thing and this first look really shows that. 

Next was time for photos of Abby and her bridesmaids and family.  

With the portraits of Abby and her bridesmaids finished it was time for their wedding ceremony in the Rock Garden at the Heritage Hotel.  Abby and Nick included a sand ceremony which was a nice addition to their ceremony.  
Part of the cocktail hour was used for photo of Abby and Nick together, the wedding party together and some family photos. 

Reception detail photos come next of the rustic timber room.  
Their reception begins with fun packed introductions, a first dance, toasts, mother son dance, father daughter dance and sweet heart table photos of Abby and Nick. 

Cake cutting, table shots, photo booth photos, reception dancing photos and a last dance by Abby and Nick round out the evening.  What an incredible wedding day Abby and Nick!!
