Nicole and Mark's wedding began on a mild March day with the sun shining and temperatures that were warm enough for an extended first look and portraits at Southford Falls State Park as well as an outdoor wedding ceremony at the Heritage Hotel. But before I get ahead of myself, let's begin our wedding day with getting ready shots of Mark and his groomsmen at the Heritage Hotel.
With the guys all dressed and ready, I went next to begin the getting ready photos of Nicole and her bridesmaids. Having both getting ready shots of the guys and girls in the same location helps logistically for a real smooth transition.
With Nicole and her bridesmaids all dressed and ready we all headed to Southford Falls State Park which is only about 10 minutes from the Heritage Hotel and a great spot for outdoor portraits. We started with their "First Look" photos, then photos of the bridal party, family photos and at the end some nice intimate time with Nicole and Mark for their photos.
Wedding ceremonies are such a beautiful thing. The girls looked so beautiful in their green dresses and beautiful bouquets with pine cones and nature flowers and tones. The ceremony was filled with personal readings by their justice of the peace, exchanging of vows, and rings as well as lots of laughs and tender moments.
After the ceremony it was time for the cocktail hour, reception detail photos and the beginming of their wedding reception with introductions, Mark and Nicole's first dance, a father daughter dance with Nicole and her dad followed by toasts by the best man and maid of honor.
Following dinner the dance floor was opened up with a special guest "Sasquatch" who joined in on the dance floor. From there, glow sticks came out, and the party really began!
Wow what an incredible celebration Nicole and Mark and all your friends and family. Way to enjoy the moment and share the love!
