Adam's Mill

Connecticut is loaded with many old mills converted into restaurants and wedding halls. Adam's Mill is one such place.  Formerly a paper mill dating back to the 1800s, Adam's mill is beautifully restored and brought to life with its brick walls, windows and architecture.  Family owned, Adam's mill is a warm and friendly place to have your wedding.  Such was the setting for Natalie and Kostyantyn's wedding. Natalie and her bridesmaids started off getting ready in the upstairs loft area.  The guys came later dressed and ready to go except for their boutonnieres.  Their ceremony was held inside and set up in the room adjacent to the main reception area.  The ceremony site was set up with a lovely arbor and chairs were all placed to accommodate the guests.  They shared touching vows and sentiments as well as laughter and their ceremony included two readings from their wedding party. 

Following their ceremony we took some time for portraits outside by a brick outbuilding and then returned for their wedding reception.  

The reception hall was set up comfortably with a long table for the wedding party against the large glass patio doors.  Their were toasts given by the maid of honor and best man as well as Natalie's dad.  The food and service by the staff was great and they had their eyes on all the guests' needs.  Both the dance floor inside as well as the outside patio were filled with dancing, conversation and even a game of hackysack!!  It was a great day and tribute to these two great people.  Wishing you Natalie and Kostyantyn much love and happiness in your new life.
