Annette and John's winter wedding took place on February 17th. Their wedding day started off with mild temperatures in the morning and afternoon. I began early in the morning at the venue taking detail photos of their beautifully decorated hall at Tashua Knolls in Trumbull Connecticut. I was so glad I stopped there before the wedding because John and Annette put so much attention and detail into all the aspects of your wedding day and had transformed Tashua Knolls Banquet Venue into a wonder of color-red, black and white. The florist had arrived when I was there so I could get great shots of the flowers and table center pieces. When the reception detail shots were complete, I went to the Homewood Suites in Stratford for part of their getting ready shots with the guys and girls. Then I headed back to Tashua Knolls to finish the getting ready shots and prepare for the wedding ceremony and reception. Annette looked so elegant in her white dress and John in his white Tux. They had a wonderful ceremony with sharing of wine followed by a short portrait session outdoors before moving back inside for the reception and dinner. As the reception got underway the snow started falling and by the end of the night there was about 4 inches of snow on the ground. They had the most amazing Venetian Table, dessert bar, that the guests went wild over as well as heartfelt toasts, beautiful company, friends music and dancing. It was the most beautiful winter wedding and to top it off, falling snow as icing on the cake!
