We start the day off with some photos of Alyssa and her bridesmaids with robes and champagne toasts.

Time management on the wedding day is very important. Time can be used efficiently on the wedding day or time can be wasted. This all translates into the photos you receive in your collection from your photographer. As a single lead photographer I always try to manage time well to maximize my client's time and money on the wedding day. So while the girls were getting into their dresses, a normal down time regarding photos, I went outside and photographed the guys outside. So by staggering time of girls getting ready and guys I can be in two places at the same time and bilocate and do the work of two photographers and better insure the quality and consistency of the work my clients receive since I am doing it myself rather then relying on a second photographer.

With the portraits of the guys done and the bridesmaids in their dresses and bride as well, it is time to continue the getting ready photos of Alyssa.

With Alyssa all dressed it is time for a first look with her father. Part of that first look was the giving of a gift which made for some "tender moments".

After the first look with her dad, it was time for portraits of Alyssa and her bridesmaids and Alyssa by herself.

It was a beautiful early June day for their outdoor ceremony. Included in their ceremony was a speech by the bride's mother and an exchanging of roses toward the end of their ceremony.

Because we took the time before the ceremony to do photos of the groom and his groomsmen and bride and her bridesmaids and family it made for less photos and time needed during the cocktail hour for guests, bridal party and bride and groom. Basically some family photos, photos of the bridal party together and then focusing on the bride and groom for photos completed all the photos needed and everyone could spend time at the cocktail hour enjoying themselves.

The Barns at Wesleyan hills is such a beautiful venue. I love the rustic upscale vibe that the venue offers. Connecticut Wedding Group runs the venue and always does an amazing job!! We start the wedding reception with introductions, a first dance with the bride and groom and toasts.

Next is a cake cutting, father daughter dance, bouquet toss and lots of great fun on the wedding day. What an amazing wedding celebration Alyssa and Justin.
