December is here and this the season for engagements. November and December mark the beginning of engagements for the following year.  It gives couples the times to have their engagement session, and get their save the date cards in the mail before the new year begins.  November and December the weather is still fair and the crowds of summer have died down and it makes for some lovely engagement sessions with the warm tones of autumn still lingering on the ground and in the air as the sun sets lower in the sky.

This was the setting for Marigrace and John's engagement session at Southford Falls State Park in Southbury, Connecticut. They didn't waste any time shortly after they booked with me in November to schedule their engagement session.  We had a nice mild late November day for their session.  They brought some champagne and glasses to celebrate on their session.  They were so much fun to work with and were full of life, laughs and love.  I will let the photos speak for themselves as will see.
