Kaitlin and Michael's wedding started at St. John's Church in Middletown, Connecticut. St. John's Church is a beautiful Brown Stone Church with the most amazing front doors and beautiful vaulted ceilings and columns. We started off this cold April 1st day with snow flurries and cold rain. The snow flurries and rain tapered off in time for our brief and brisk portrait session followed by reception at The Pavilion On Crystal Lake. Kaitlin and Mike and the rest of the bridal party were troopers bearing the wind and light rain and cold for their portrait session. Kaitlin and Michael had the Pavilion decorated in a rustic theme with cut wood table settings and rustic vases for the tables as well as dessert bar with Lyman Orchards's Pies and even cinnamon doughnuts. The toasts were touching and the fun loving group danced the night away with great music and lots of laughs. They DJ was great and the photo booth was icing on the cake and added to the fun loving group and evening. The CT Wedding Group staff and Allie did an amazing job of running the evening and making sure every detail was tended to. It was a great celebration to remember.
